About the Role
This position is part of a recruitment project managed by United Consulting Group on behalf of a client operating in the agriculture and manufacturing sector.
United is supporting the hiring process for a key HR leadership role within the client’s Vietnam operations. The successful candidate will be directly employed by the client and will be responsible for building and managing HR functions on the ground.

- Location: Vietnam (Tay Ninh City - relocation bonuses included)
- Reports to: General Manager
Qualifications and Requirements
- Strong communication skills in English and Vietnamese
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Advanced degree or HR certification (SHRM, CIPD, or equivalent) is an advantage
- Minimum 3 years of HR experience, with leadership exposure in Vietnam
- Strong knowledge of Vietnamese labor law, payroll, and compliance requirements
- Experience in multinational or multi-entity environments is preferred
- Proven ability to work with management and cross-functional teams
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability
Role Overview
The HR Lead is responsible for overseeing all human resources functions, including recruitment, compliance, employee relations, and organizational development. This role ensures alignment with Vietnamese labor laws while supporting business growth through effective workforce planning and people management.
The position requires a balance of operational execution and strategic input, working closely with management to build a structured, compliant, and people-focused organization.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Leadership and Operations
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and frameworks aligned with business needs
- Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and talent development processes
- Oversee payroll coordination, timekeeping, and employee records management
- Supervise HR support staff and ensure accuracy of HR documentation
- Partner with management on workforce planning and headcount strategy
2. Compliance and Governance
- Ensure full compliance with Vietnamese labor laws, social insurance, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain proper employment contracts, documentation, and reporting
- Establish and monitor HR governance structures and internal processes
- Track HR metrics, KPIs, and reporting to support management decision-making
- Coordinate with external parties where required for compliance and advisory
3. Employee Relations and Workplace Culture
- Drive employee engagement, retention, and workplace culture initiatives
- Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes
- Support performance management and development planning
- Implement recognition and welfare programs to support employee well-being
4. Health, Safety, and Workforce Support
- Support workplace health and safety initiatives in line with local regulations
- Coordinate basic employee health and welfare programs
- Ensure proper handling of workplace incidents and compliance requirements
- Promote a safe and productive working environment
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary Range: USD 1,200 to USD 1,500 per month
